All personnel assigned to our clients are employed directly by Hakuhana under an Employer of Record (EOR) arrangement. As the legal employer, Hakuhana is responsible for managing payroll, withholding and remitting taxes, providing workers’ compensation coverage, and administering unemployment insurance. This ensures full compliance and provides peace of mind for both our employees and our clients.

Clients are charged a contracted rate for each assigned employee. Rates are determined based on the nature and duration of the assignment—whether it is a short-term placement of 10 days or a long-term engagement lasting 10 years.
